Yarn Camp is three days of fun, fellowship, and food centered around fiber crafts we all enjoy and love to share.
Our first Yarn Camp was February 2009. Yarn Camp has been such a big hit with knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers alike, we have three Yarn Camps each year in February, May, and October.
We can take up to 50 overnight campers at Jubilee House Retreat Center, here in historic Abingdon, Virginia. Plenty of room for additional Day Campers! We begin Friday at 10am, stay the weekend, and leave by 2pm Sunday. Lodging consists of two to three twin beds per room (including linens), each room having its own private bath. Four meals are provided by our wonderful hosts of Jubilee House Retreat Center.
With your registration you will receive a discount at A Likely Yarn, be entered for door prizes, and be presented with one organized, optional activity. In the past, we have done needle felting, knit one below, short rows, a stitch marker exchange, crocheted beaded bracelets, and more.
We also have Friday night "Show & Tell" after dinner at each camp.
We bring projects we can't wait to start, need to finish, or are simply excited about. Many come by the shop to take advantage of their discount to pick out a new project.
Watch Facebook, Instagram, and this site to find out when registrations open!
